Pigeon Post #2

Hello again!
Welcome to the rebranded newsletter — The Pigeon Post 💚

In this issue, we’ll cover the new puzzle for the Friends of Fauna, the freshly launched merchandise, the Apple Design Award, and a little sneak peek at the new puzzles coming later this month.

Let’s dive in! 🤿

Friends of Fauna: July Puzzle

First of all, thank you so much for all your submissions! Looking through your adorable and amazing animal photos is now one of my favourite parts of the day.

As promised, I’ve picked one of the submitted animals to turn into a new puzzle — now available for all Friends of Fauna!
This month’s choice is the Peafowl — the single most submitted animal (if we don’t count pets 🐶🐱). It also happens to be one of my favorite birds, and I’m lucky enough to see them regularly on my walks here in Graz.

A special shoutout to Claudia and Michael — the latter provided the photo you can see above. 💚

Make sure you’ve installed the latest version of The Art of Fauna! If you’re already part of the Friends of Fauna, you’ll find the Peafowl puzzle waiting for you. And if you haven’t joined yet — you can do so for free!

Merchandise! 👕

Since the beginning of this project, people have constantly asked if I would ever release T-shirts featuring the beautiful animal art. Well, it's finally happening — the shop is live! 🥳

You'll find T-shirts, a sweater, a cap, and a beautiful enamel pin. All clothing is made from organic materials, with the T-shirts and sweater being GOTS certified. Everything is printed on demand in Hamburg, Germany to reduce waste.

The shop is currently available in Europe and the UK, and I’m hoping to open it up to the rest of the world soon!

Got any wishes or ideas for other merchandise? I’d love to hear from you! ♥️

Apple Design Award! 🥳

It’s been announced for a while now, but I had to mention it here as well:

The Art of Fauna has won an Apple Design Award in the Inclusivity category — and was also a finalist in Social Impact! ✨

Winning an Apple Design Award has been a dream of mine for a long time, and it still feels surreal that it actually happened. I was lucky enough to travel to Cupertino to accept the award and meet some truly wonderful people.

Afterward, I took a bit of a holiday — and proposed to my now fiancé! 💍
(Which is also why this newsletter is a little late — sorry! 😬)

There are so many other incredible apps and games that won an Apple Design Award this year, and I really recommend checking them out!

The Ocean is waiting 🌊

Many of you have requested new puzzles, and I'm happy to announce that on July 30th, you'll be able to dive into 10 brand-new puzzles. Like Echoes of Extinction, this pack will also be free for everyone who has purchased all the previous puzzle packs. More infos will be announced soon.

That’s it again! I keep saying it, but truly — from the bottom of my heart, thank you sooo much for your ongoing support and love. It really means the world to me! 💚

Hope to see you all on Discord soon!

Cheers,
Klemens

PS: As always, if you love The Art of Fauna, then please take a minute and leave a review on the App Store. This helps a lot with getting found by other people. Thanks! 💚
